Cargo Drop, Chapter 016.

Hi all!

With the current two heat waves that hit us, it is like my one editor said: “South Africa did not have spring, but went directly into summer!” Surprise, surprise! Now there’s a weather warning out for severe swells and high wind around the south of the country, from Saldanha Bay on the west coast, trough Cape Town, up to Plettenberg Bay on the Cape South Coast.

A cold front with heavy rain is expected along the south coast, and this drop in temperature will result in a drop of temperature here on the High Veldt as well. This cold front is one of the last of the season and will reach inland as far as Bloemfontein, pass just south of Gauteng, and exit South Africa around the north of KwaZulu-Natal.

Here is chapter 16 of “Cargo Drop.” I do hope you will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it. I also think there’s NOT a cliffhanger at the end of the chapter, but rather a surprise.

Thank you for all the comments and emails. It’s highly appreciated.

Stay well, stay safe!

Until next time.

Bye 4 now!

Cargo Drop, Chapter 015.

Hi all!

Here is chapter 15 of “Cargo Drop.” Well, after SOL get done with it! It will be up around USA breakfast time and after supper in Australia and New Zealand. (I believe that 10:00 at my location is around 20:00 in New Zealand where one of my friends are staying.)

I had a very disturbing mail from a reader that lead me to investigate a certain aspect of my stories. With the help of the Webmaster at SOL, I now have rectified that part and hope that my visually impaired readers will now be able to “see” my pictures in the text, and not just get a non-descriptive file-name.

Please, I would like to hear from you if the changes I made do accommodate you guys and girls, did the trick. I am still growing into this publishing thing and don’t know all the technical stuff. You can contact me here on the SOL email, or through jodydaniel28@gmail.com. Don’t be shy! Let me know.

This is also why there’re just three pictures in this chapter. It’s to test the success of the new format. I also has no way of testing the format of the pictures and will thus need feedback from you guys that do make use of screen readers.

Thank you for all the comments and emails. It’s highly appreciated.

Enjoy, chapter 15, and I don’t know if the ending would constitute a cliff-hanger! If so, just a mild one.

Stay well, stay safe!

Until next time.

Bye 4 now!

Hi all!
Okay, it seems like Bobbie had some serious Corn Flakes cereal for breakfast! So let us not delay and get this next chapter out on SOL. There’s a twist in the plot coming soon, so standby for some action. But first, lets get this one out…

Herewith chapter 14 of Cargo Drop. Enjoy!

Cargo Drop, Chapter 013.

Hi all!
It seems like the year is running at warp speed to a close. I realised today that it is time to post Cargo Drop chapter 13, and I am running out of completed chapters. Lucky chapter 16 is going off to the editors shortly so, I am still 3 chapters ahead! LOL!

Between writing Cargo Drop, running a household, animals to the vet and back, research for a new story… (Oops! Cat out of the bag… LOL), and yard work, I seem to have run out of hours in the day. Please, someone, let me know of a way to get 30 or 25 hours out of a 24-hour day, but, DON’T tell me not to sleep… LOL.

One thing that did get me thinking was how I came to appreciate the good old small Cessna aircraft again. After years of state-of-the-art aircraft, with their sophisticated autopilots, how nice was it to fly a basic 206 Stationair with steam gauges again. Oh yeah, one needs to work a bit in the office up front, but when trimmed out nice and the throttle, prop condition, and mixture settings tweaked right, she just flies herself. Man! But more of that later when the new story hits the screens at SOL.

Herewith chapter 13 of Cargo Drop. Enjoy!

Until next time.

Bye 4 now!

Hi all!

Not to keep you waiting and get up to speed with my posting schedule… Herewith Chapter 12 of Cargo Drop.

There’re not much happening this side. The little dog is perfect and recovering good from his hospital stay. He will be on insulin twice a day, but yeah… he started to bark at stuff happening outside the gate and sang with the heart-sore dog next door, causing the rest of the neighbourhoods dogs to join in the fun.

The cats are fine and so am I.

Until next time. I hope you enjoy this chapter. There’s much happening!

Bye 4 now!
