Wouldn't one of those main page banners be appropriate? It would at least reach those authors who don't follow the forum(s).

My last post was supposed to be humorous, but on a serious note, I actually have the time to write a Halloween story for the contest. But it's been many years since I entered your Halloween contest and have a question.
How is the story submitted? Is there something in the Wizard that you check to say it's to be entered in the contest? Or is it sent directly to you? Or some other way?

When the submission phase opens, there will be a new button in the wizard to enter the contest.
I'm a premium member but don't see a voting button. I assumed there would be a contest voting page, but now it occurs to me that the winner might be the story with the highest vote on their story page (in which case my work here is done.) Is that it, or am I overlooking something?

When you click and read a story, there is no voting for at its end to vote? That's not possible.

That was my misunderstanding. I was expecting a separate page where I'd pick my top 3 choices or something like that. I can see how the individual story voting will be used for the same purpose.

I think you're right. From previous competitions, when the voting period is over and the winners decided, the stories are nymised and available for everyone to read and vote, and the scores awarded by paid premier members become visible.
